Itumbi's Public Gesture for Jacque Maribe Raises Questions

Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe on Saturday made her first public appearance since her release at the wedding of Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda.

Visibly in high spirits, the journalist arrived in the company of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria helicopter for the auspicious occasion attended by high profile personalities.

Itumbi who has not shied from expressing his unwavering support for Jacque during the trial period, took her photo at the wedding and made it into his FaceBook profile picture.

The update raised questions among many Kenyans online with some taking to the social media platform advising him to be bold and declare his intentions with the anchor.

"A man who does not express his heart to a lady will fetch water on her wedding day, wewe naona uta fetch kuni, water na u help ku pitch tent (I can see you will only fetch firewood, water and pitch the tent during her wedding)"

Some stated that they had a stake in that relationship and asked to be invited when the two (Dennis and Jacque) took the nuptials

"When is this wedding happening? Please, Dennis, don't do it privately, its more of a public thing you know," another wrote.

Others were of the opinion that in the event, her fiance Joseph Irungu (Jowi) was exonerated for the murder of Monica Kimani, Jacque would go back to him.

"Keep deluding yourself brother. Don't be surprised when Jowi comes out and the lady claims you were not his taste after all. Kuna madem wengi bro," a user conveyed.

"Bibi ya wenyewe unaweka profile picture? She has never denounced her fiance publicly & you are busy using her photo? Kitaeleweka," another added.
