Jacque Maribe's Emotional Birthday Poem From Dennis Itumbi

Secretary Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications Dennis Itumbi wrote an emotional poem to embattled Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe for her birthday.

He wrote the piece to comfort Maribe whose birthday had also coincided with her date with the courts.

He recounted the rough experiences that the news anchor had encountered after she was linked to the death of Monica Kimani.

Itumbi encouraged her not to bow to the challenges because they would eventually make her stronger.

The Twitter bigwig expressed his desire to stand with Maribe in the rain so that he could hold just one raindrop for her, place it on her bicep and watch it roll down.

The poem also had a holiday message where he urged the popular scribe to use the new year to reintroduce herself with fresh stamina and undeterred passion.

This was just another of many times that the former State House insider has publicly expressed his love for the TV queen.

In 2017, Itumbi also marked Maribe’s birthday with another of his now-famous poems.

Itumbi's gesture was received warmly by social media users who lauded the message as romantic while others speculated whether the two are just friends.

Following the arrest and arraignment of Maribe in court over the murder of Monica, Itumbi penned a letter for her son Zahari.
