On Christmas night, Nairobi County boss Mike Sonko awed revelers with his DJ skills.
Sonko was hosting a party at his Muia Hills home in Machakos.
The governor is seen dancing which he soon abandons for the spinning decks.
He wished Kenyans a merry Christmas and urged them to share with the less fortunate.
“Don’t drink and drive tonight, stay safe out there. Nairobi City remains the City of choice to Invest, Work and Live in,” his social media post read.
Earlier on the day he had asked those who wanted to join him for the festivities to text him on his Facebook page.
Sonko had also promised to send taxi money to anyone willing to join him.
On Monday, he initiated a program to support mothers who had delivered in Nairobi County.
In the program, he will distribute diapers, baby shawls, basins, powder, soaps, clothings and cotton wool.
Each mother will benefit from the above items for a period of 6 months.
The program was launched when he visited visited Pumwani Maternity Hospital.
