Mithika Linturi Blocked From Accessing Bank Accounts Over Ksh530 Million Loan Forgery Row

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi has been blocked from accessing his several bank accounts over Ksh530 million loan forgery row.

His estranged wife Marianne Kitany told the court that he forged signatures to secure a Ksh530 million bank loans using her properties as collateral.

Justice John Onyiego directed Linturi not to withdraw, transfer or interfere with monies held in several bank accounts.

The ruling was issued on Wednesday pending the hearing of the case.

Other issued by the High Court restrain the Senator and his agents from interfering with six matrimonial properties in Kajiado.

Linturi has also been ordered against wasting, damaging or interfering with matrimonial vehicles used by his estranged wife Maryann Keitanny.

The two vehicles are a Range Rover and Toyota Land Cruiser.

The said motor vehicles according to the Judge shall continue being used by their current users but without changing ownership.

Also issued was an order restraining Linturi from evicting or in any way interfering with peaceful living of Kitany in the matrimonial homes in Maua, and Runda.
