A tourist is set to be arraigned in court on Monday after a fight with Kenyan businessman.

Narok OCPD, Joseph Kosombe, cited Amando Kurti will be arraigned for allegedly assaulting and resisting arrest.

His partner, Danielle Olivier, who hails from New Zealand, accused the police of taking sides claiming that the businessman, known as Muneer Ishmael, started the fight.

Oliver narrated that Ishmael, a petrol station owner, manhandled her as she was withdrawing money from the Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

“We were on our way to Nairobi from Maasai Mara Game Reserve when we stopped to fuel our car and fix some mechanical problems,” stated Oliver.

“While I was at the ATM, the man started pushing and slapping me on the face as he demanded to know why I had parked the car at the wrong place,” she continued.

When Oliver told her partner, he alighted from the vehicle and demanded to know why Ishmael assaulted her. It is then that the two started exchanging blows.

According to Daily Nation, both Kisombe and Ishmael suffered serious injuries on the face.

The OCPD allegedly added that the two tourists fled towards Mai Mahiu after assaulting the petrol station owner but were seized at a roadblock in Ntulele trading centre.
