Daring Texts Betty Kyallo's Mother Sends to Her Daughter's Haters

K24TV anchor Betty Kyallo's mother on Friday revealed that she at times confronts those posting negative comments about her daughter via Direct Messages (DMs).

Speaking during an interactive interview segment hosted by Jalang'o, Betty's mom wondered why people were rude online adding that she was used to the comments.

"I am used to the comments. As a mother, I have to wonder why they are making negative comments about her.

"Sometimes I try to interact with them and when they see me online, they say, oh mom kumbe you are there, I am sorry," she stated.

Calling for respectful conversations online, Betty's mother urged people to handle situations while considering the other person's point of view.

"I mean, this person who is commenting might have a mother, a daughter, and sister. It wouldn't be right if they got treated that way. They don't know about tomorrow, about the future," she added.

She further revealed that the anchor and her sisters led simple lives when they were younger and living in Rongai.

"They would get on the matatus heading to school and stand. I am very proud of them because they are bright," she stated.

During the interview, Betty addressed the claims that she was bitter over her ex-husband's NTV anchor Dennis Okari recent nuptials.

"Ati nasikia watu wakisema nilikuwa nalilia kwa choo. Hakuna kitu kama hicho (I am told people were saying that I was weeping in the toilet. There is nothing like that)" she clarified.
