Joho's Passionate Pledge to Thrash Ruto Excites Crowd

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho on Saturday threw a crowd into a frenzy when he bragged about how easily he could floor Deputy President William Ruto in a presidential election.

He was speaking at Wajir County where he had attended a fundraiser hosted by Wajir Women Representative Fatuma Gedi

He seemed to have been tired of the frequent mention of DP Ruto in many debates within the country.

"Mimi nashangaa sana na watu wanaongea Ruto... Ruto mimi peke yake naweza mwangusha, mimi peke yake (I'm surprised of people talking about Ruto. I can floor Ruto myself, without help)," Joho started his barrage.

He continued, "Ata Baba hajaingia hapo, mimi pekee naweza onyesha wewe vumbi sana (Even without Raila's help, I can show you dust) my friend. Mpaka yeye hawezi amini... yeye anajua hivyo... ndio maana halali (Ruto cannot believe, and he knows it. That's why he is having sleepless nights )."

Also in attendance was former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, who all spoke against corruption.

Odinga called out Ruto for his remarks regarding the drought in Turkana and Baringo Counties and also called for an unbiased investigation in the war against corruption.

Kuria stated that talking about corruption in the media only contributed to propagating the vice. He recommended that the only place where corruption would be tamed at is the Judiciary and prisons precincts.

Junet expressed his support for President Uhuru Kenyatta and Odinga's fight to eliminate graft in the government.
