Watch Sonko Get Frightened From Donating Blood by Huge Needle

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, on Sunday, appeared too frightened to donate blood during the Good Deeds Day celebration at City Hall, Nairobi.

The governor had already settled into the reclining chair ready to donate when a nurse approached him holding the needle that would have been used to draw blood.

On seeing this, Sonko quickly clutched her hand before she could inject it and started examining the long pointy needle.

"It is too big, it is too big," Sonko complained before retracting his arm and proceeding to get off the chair, leaving those who had gathered around in laughter.

Safe to say, Israeli Deputy Ambassador to Kenya, Eyal David, will not be awarding Sonko for donating blood as he had promised.

During the event, the governor announced that he would host the Good Deeds Africa Regional Conference in August 2019.

The county boss encouraged organisations involved in volunteerism to share their successes, challenges, and lessons learned, in order to promote volunteering in Kenya.

"I also urge the private sector to embrace good deeds because, as they say, doing good is good business,” he stated.

In December 2018, Governor Sonko was named the Good Deeds goodwill ambassador in Kenya.

Sonko earned the ambassadorial position based on the philanthropic work he has undertaken over the years.
