Kenyan celebrities have joined hands in support of Shiyenze Khasoha, a fashion designer, who is battling ovarian cancer.
The fashion designer was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the tender age of 22 and as fate would have it, her mother was also diagnosed with the disease.
In less than a minute videos, the celebrities encouraged Kenyans to buy her designs so as the funds are directed towards her treatment.
Some of the celebrities who have made the videos are; Larry Madowo, Jalang'o, Alex Mwakideu, Kate Sidede, Robert Burale amongst others.
"I am rooting for you, you are one of the strongest in this journey, I am sure you are going to beat this," Larry Madowo noted in a video from Atlanta.
Alex Mwakideu, a Milele FM presenter, stated he had lost his sister to cancer and that it was an expensive disease.
"She's a designer and she only needs you to buy her African collection so she can get treatment," Mwakideu weighed in.
"I am here to show my utmost support to Shiyenze, we are raising funds in a different way, she wants Kenyans to buy her designs so as to get money for her treatment," Jalong'o stated.
Ovarian cancer is the type of cancer that forms in the tissues of the ovary.
Sinyenze is receiving treatment at the MP-Shah, Aga Khan and Karen hospitals.
