Senator Kihika Takes Shooting Practice After Her Security Was Withdrawn [PHOTOS]

After her security was withdrawn, Senate Majority Chief Whip Susan Kihika, on Monday, decided to take matters into her own hands and train on how to shoot a gun.

The Nakuru Senator took to social media showcasing snippets from a shooting session at a gun range.

Quoting legendary author Jon Krakauer,'s book Into the Wild, Kihika noted, "Make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to attempt."

Here are the photos:

Her photos elicited reactions from a section of Kenyans online with Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen stating, "Taking matters security into your own hands literally!"

Since her security and that of several MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto was withdrawn, Kihika has maintained her unwavering support for the DP reading malice in the move.

Referring to COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli's remarks that Ruto's name would not be on the ballot in 2022, Kihika opined that the withdrawal was a warning of intended harm on the DP and his allies prior to the polls.

"Atwoli said he was 100 per cent sure Ruto won’t be on the ballot and we recall Hon Muchai’s brutal murder, could this have any bearing with our security being withdrawn and the confidence that Ruto will not be on the ballot? Are we being targeted as a warning shot to Ruto?” she posed on Twitter.

In another show of her loyalty to the DP, she declared that she was acting as his bodyguard when addressing a crowd.

"They took away my bodyguard to intimidate me. I decided I can actually be the Deputy President’s Bodyguard! Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come,” she tweeted.
