Miguna Miguna, on Friday, expressed his admiration for Citizen TV's News Gang program.
The lawyer noted that the news segment hosted by Yvonne Okwara, Joe Ageyo and Linus Kaikai provided a much-needed analysis of Kenya's political landscape.
"Yvonne Okwara, Joe Ageyo and Linus Kaikai are doing a commendable job at the Citizen TV Kenya's News Gang.
"This is a refreshing program. A high bar. Journalism at its best. We need more incisive analysis like this. Not less. Bravo," he stated.
During the Thursday bulletin, Okwara condemned former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for what she termed as dishonesty.
Yvonne made reference to Raila's trip to China; accompanying President Uhuru Kenyatta who is seeking a Ksh368 billion loan for the extension of the SRG from Naivasha to Kisumu.
She reminded Kenyans of how Odinga himself had blasted the government over the country's ballooning debt.
"As we speak, the president and former premier Raila Odinga are in China seeking more funding for the SGR, yet in 2016, Raila was extremely critical of the country's debt situation. He had a list of five demands for the president regarding the debt situation.
"He accused the government of over-borrowing, overspending and over-stealing. He further told the president to wake up and smell the coffee that the country was on a downward trend," Yvonne pointed out the irony.
She stated that as a leader, Odinga ought to be judged by his words.
