Edwin Sifuna’s Fierce Response After Aisha Jumwa Embarrasses Him [VIDEO]

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has hit back at MP Aisha Jumwa hours after she publicly humiliated him at a funeral in Malindi.

Speaking to journalists, Sifuna maintained that as a secretary-general, he was the face of the party and was obligated to represent the party wherever he went.

As the Secretary-General of ODM, I have to represent the party everywhere I go)," he stated.

Sifuna lashed out at Jumwa for always bashing ODM whenever she got a chance but as soon as members of the party responded to her attacks, she pulled the victim card.

Its very embarrassing to see leaders who everytime they stand up to speak, they start abusing ODM, yet when ODM defend itself, they cry foul),

Its very embarrasing for the Malindi MP to gag the ODM party from speaking about its affairs) he explained.

Responding to former Kakamega senator Bhoni Khalwale who had insinuated that he was failing the party, Sifuna via his social media stated that he would never get into a physical confrontation with a woman.

Besides sijui kama wewe ulifunzwa but for us the Bukusu we don't engage women in physical confrontations. Wewe jaribu hio siku moja uone ile slap utakula," he stated.

The whole drama began on Friday at the funeral of the late Edward Benjamin Kingi, Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi’s father in Malindi after Jumwa grabbed a microphone from Sifuna forcing him to cut short his speech.

Jumwa, who was the one inviting political leaders, interrupted Sifuna and told him to stop politicizing the funeral and instead look for an ODM platform if he wanted to raise party issues.
