A 42-year-old American businessman, Carlson Matthew Fredrick was found dead on Wednesday morning at a hotel in Nairobi.
Fredrick is said to have checked in the hotel on May 2, 2019, and was visiting Kenya for a business related venture.
Reports by The Standard indicated that Fredrick had his dinner on Tuesday evening and went to his room.
However, on Wednesday morning, cleaners found the lifeless body of the 42-year-old, with blood oozing from his mouth.
Gigiri police boss Richard Muguai stated that they were yet to know what caused this death.
In August 2018, Dan Muresan-a political strategist-was found dead in a Kenyan hotel room while working on President Uhuru Kenyatta's campaign.
Speaking during an interview with the Frontline Club in London, Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie stated that the circumstances around Dan's death were unclear as the company did not disclose any information on the incident.
"I can’t say he was murdered. He died in his hotel room," Wylie stated.
He added that following the death of Museran who was Romanian, a vacancy for a political strategist came up which he took up.
