NTV News Anchor Who Worked as a Bishop's Translator

NTV news anchor Dennis Okari has revealed that he was once an interpreter for an archbishop during a ceremony held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center(KICC).

A TBT photo posted by Okari on Thursday shows the news anchor dressed in an oversized shirt, clinching tightly to his microphone and looking straight at the preacher, probably, reading his lips so that he is better placed to interpret what the archbishop is saying.

"#tbt 2005 Umbali nimetoka, na mahali nimefika....When I was an interpreter for Archbishop Arthur Kitonga and Emmanuel Twagirimana at KICC," he captioned.

Okari is an NTV news anchor, who also does investigative features at the station.

His fans, who were amused at the photo left hilarious comments on the post.

"Haha, you were so skinny," Lilly Moraa stated.

"Boss, I thought that is your sibling," Sally Miringu weighed in.

"No, I beg to be Thomas, I don't believe this hahaha," Jeff Kayuyu cited.

In 2018, the media personality went to preach at a church and stated that preaching was a heavenly calling and that he was quite passionate about the ministry.

Okari was a guest pastor during the all-night prayer gathering hosted by Pastor Moses Sempele at Christ House Church.
