Latest photos of Kibra Member of Parliament, Kenneth Okoth, that were shared on Sunday night, have received overwhelming love from netizens.
The photos which were taken in Paris, France, showed the MP alongside his wife, Monica Okoth, Nairobi County's Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, who posted the pictures on her Twitter page.
Okoth, who has been openly battling colorectal cancer, appeared to be in seemingly good health, and with a cheerful smile.
"Thank you Mheshimiwa for making time for my visit today. I know you can't wait to return and get back in the saddle. We are all praying and rooting for you," Passaris tweeted.
Netizens sent an outpouring of love messages and quotes of encouragement for the cancer warrior.
"Quick recovery to mheshimiwa. You are all looking great," Amanda tweeted.
The responses all had a common theme which was simply love, with 100% of the netizens going out of their way to wish not only the MP well, but his family as well.
"Lovelight and life abundance to mheshimiwa Okoth and his entire family," Lindy Wafula tweeted.
The 41-year-old leader is one of the youngest Members of Parliament and a visionary known for describing himself as an educator and humanist.
During a past interview, Okoth revealed that his battle with cancer had been a tough one but that he was certain he'd pull through.
“The fear of the unknown that accompanies a cancer diagnosis is immense. Cancer changes your life completely,” he stated.
Netizens poured out their hearts after the photos were shared, in an act of national solidarity with the outspoken MP.
