Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura tickled a church congregation last Sunday when he publicly called Deputy President William Ruto the head of state.
While speaking at Kahawa Wendani Anglican Church, The senator had been explaining how he had improved the country when he mentioned that it was the DP who made it all possible.
"Wakati mimi sikupita kiti ya Ruiru, ninashukuru sana kwa sababu chama cha jubilee kilininominate kama senator. (When I was not elected as MP for Ruiru, I thank the Jubilee Party for nominating me as a senator.)
"Jana Mheshimiwa Rais, Deputy Rais, haha, nilikuwa na furaha sana. Wakati mlikuwa mnazindua zile pesa, mkasema zinafaa kutumiwa na watu wasioona, mimi ndio nilianzisha hiyo campaign, nikaandikia governor wa Central Bank na nikapeleka petition Senate," he stated.

He further revealed that because of the appointment, Kenya is only among five countries that have set up a kitty financing people who live with difficulties.
He further took the opportunity to tell Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu that the Senate was still determined to keep overseeing the governors.
An exercise he explained that was good for all Kenyans.
He further emphasised that it was important for the construction of sewage alongside the robust construction of Roads.
