MP in Accident as Vehicle Rolls Several Times 

Rongo Member of Parliament Paul Abuor was on Sunday evening involved in a grisly road accident that almost cost him his life.

The legislator was traveling in a vehicle with his bodyguard, driver, and two other people when it rolled severally at the Segona area in Kiambu-Nairobi highway.

According to the ODM party MP, the driver of the vehicle lost control and rolled severally on the road. 

Abuor, who survived the accident, on Monday, came out to disclose that he was out of danger after the near-death experience.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Abuor disclosed that the other vehicle occupants also underwent a medical check-up and were confirmed to be out of danger.

“Nobody was injured in the crash, I, therefore, want to tell all Rongo residents as well as friends and family that I am fine and there is no cause for alarm,” explained the MP.

However, his vehicle that was damaged beyond recognition has since been written off.

This incident comes after the death of former MP for Rongai, Nakuru, who is reported to have passed on at the age of 77.

Willy Komen died on Saturday night as he was being rushed to hospital as per reports by the People Daily.

His son Raymond Komen, who is the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Cooperative in Nakuru County, confirmed the incident at his fathers home in Menengai.
