Sonko Sends Warning Shots to Uhuru's CSs

Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has issued out a resound warning to the Cabinet Secretaries who have been engaged in the succession politics.

Speaking in Mavoko constituency, Machakos county, the bold county boss went on to tell the Cabinet secretaries that campaigning for the next poll when the president is alive was tantamount to killing the president.

"You should stop engaging in your campaign tours and stop killing the president. How can you start engaging in the next elections campaign when the Head of State is still alive?" he posed.

He then went on to ask the president to sack all the Cabinet Secretaries who were not performing their roles.

"Mr President, I ask you to fire all the non-performing Cabinet members who are not supporting your Big 4 Agenda."

Sonko went on to express his displeasure with the Tanga tanga and Kieleweke factions for derailing the Big 4 Agenda.

"Stop moving around the nation and blocking the president's legacy on the Big 4. It is too early to begin these campaigns." he demanded.

He went on state that the two groups had already wasted one year of the president's term.

"The president has made it clear that he wants change and development yet you are busy constantly sparking unnecessary political tensions among our people. You have already wasted his one year." he stated

The Nairobi governor went on to speak on the calls for referendum to add Uhuru one more term,

"I will come back here to take your signatures and ensure that we add the president one more term in the coming referendum. Uhuru is still very young."

Mavoko MP, Patrick Makau also spoke during the "Team Wanjiku" rally and told his constituents to support governor Sonko's movement.

"I am here to inform you that our chief guest, governor Sonko is our friend and has the interests of the common citizen at heart. Let us support him." he implored.

Sonko's tongue-lashing to the cabinet members comes a week after there were reports of certain high ranking government officials who were summoned to the DCI for alleged plans of killing the Deputy President William Ruto.
