Gov Mutua Given 1-Week Ultimatum to Apologise [VIDEO]

Former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo has asked Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua to apologise to Kalembe Ndile or face unspecified consequences.

Speaking during a presser on Sunday, the former boxer, who is one of the politicians in Team Wanjiku, asked Mutua to solve his differences with the former Kibwezi MP.

According to him, the governor should make amends with Kalembe first before he reaches out to Sonko.

"As I was watching the news today, I  heard Mutua explaining that he didn't have any bad intentions. It's almost as if he was apologising to Sonko.

"However, I want to ask him why he is apologising to Sonko instead of seeking out the child of a squatter, don't play with our minds," Ndolo asserted.

He went on to add that Mutua knew what he was doing when he shamed Sonko in public over the defaced statues of Tom Mboya and Dedan Kimathi

"Why didn't you go to see Sonko in his office if you really had genuine intentions? You have no respect at all," he added.

The County government of Machakos shut down Macha Be Hotel belonging to Kalembe during a crackdown on entities that were non-compliant to the public health by-laws in the county.

Interestingly, the former legislator had accompanied Sonko to donate foodstuff to Machakos residents the previous day.

The move was seen as a response to Mutua's stunt in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) over the neglected statues.
