Mututho's Bizzare Solution to Corruption

Former NACADA chairman, John Mututho, on Tuesday gave the government a weird solution that would stop corruption in the country.

According to Mututho, the procurement offices are reported to harbour the most corruption deals.

As a result, he urged the government to hire deaf graduates to the procurement departments as it would help curb corruption.

Speaking at Ngala Secondary School for the Deaf in Nakuru Town, Mututho argued that deaf people will not give room for negotiation of graft deals.

"So I'm appealing to the government, as policy now, we take these intelligent who have one form of challenge or another and put them in serious installations," he disclosed.

"For Kenya now, serious installations is the procurement office, because that is where they do all the corruption and these people will not be able to negotiate or do illegal things," declared Mututho.

Mututho further described how procurement offices in the government consume corruption for breakfast, lunch and supper.

He concluded by making reference to the Bible and Quran that have discouraged taking alcohol for a record 75 and 17 times respectively.

"Get your degrees, stay in the perimeters defined by the Bible or Quran, chief among them 75 times in the Bible, the Lord says don't drink, don't use drugs, 17 times in the Holy Quran," he urged.
