MP Ken Okoth Moves Friends With Flowery Message About Wife

Kibra MP, Ken Okoth, on Saturday evening, revealed to friends how his wife’s support saw him through his continuing battle against cancer.

The legislator recently returned from France where he spent five months receiving treatment for colorectal cancer.

Okoth hosted a gathering with his close friends over the weekend and shared with them his experiences at the hospital and the supportive role played by his wife Monica.

His former high school classmate and long-time friend, Fred Gori, shared pictures of the get together on Facebook.

“Last night, Kibra MP Ken Okoth told us something worth mulling over. ”Guys, take care of your wives. You may have a lot of money for treatment but nothing equals a woman who stands by you in your moment of illness”,” posted Gori.

Gori gave details on how Monica stood by Ken in France for the five months he was receiving treatment.

The supportive wife took time off from work to cater for the needs of the legislator.

Ken Okoth has been out of the country for the better part of the past six months after he flew out of the nation to seek advanced medical treatment.

Colorectal cancer, also known as bowel cancer, colon cancer, or rectal cancer, is any cancer that affects the colon and the rectum.

Okoth received various visitors in France including ODM party leader, Raila Odinga and BBC journalist Larry Madowo, as he underwent treatment.
