What Laboso Told Son During Last Conversation

In the late Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso's funeral service, on Thursday, at the All Saints Cathedral, her children penned out emotional tributes praising her for being an amazing mother.

One of her sons recounted the last conversation that he and the late governor had, noting that she had told him how much she would miss the whole family.

"I will cherish the last conversation we had, where you told me that you loved me and you're going to miss all of us," he remarked.

He went ahead and thanked God for the mother that he was privileged to have.

"Thank you for loving me and caring for me and ensuring that I lacked nothing," he stated.

Laboso's other son, Bryan Abonyo, stated that he would miss the governor, thanking her for the many virtues that she had taught them.

"Thank you for being the exemplary mum that you were to us. Thank you for teaching us virtues of selflessness, patience, perseverance, discipline and diligence. You loved us all so much," he noted.

Ted, Laboso's other son, apologised for all the times that he had given the governor a hard time.

"Thank you for all the unconditional love and for never giving up on me. I promise to be strong and make you proud," he noted.

The late governor died on July 29, 2019, at The Nairobi Hospital.
