American tycoon and business Mogul Warren Buffet has showered President Uhuru Kenyatta with praises over what he termed as futuristic investments for the country.
He also stated that this was one of the reasons why Kenya has one of the strongest economies in Africa.
“In the same vein, it is refreshing to see President Kenyatta, act with the future in mind,” he added.
Buffet who is known for investment into long term projects noted that the CinC was one of the leaders in Africa who had mastered this art.
The billionaire also claimed that this was the reason Kenya was the well-respected partner on the global scene on issues ranging from environmental protection to war on terrorism.
According to a report by The Star, Buffet who is the fourth richest man in the world noted that despite being the not all things were going well the fruits of the government's investments would be seen in the near future.
He further adviced the government to withhold from frivolous spending and to put the money towards the future instead.
International Centre for Policy and Conflict Executive Director and Igembe North MP, Maoko Maore, noted that despite this fact being true not all of President Kenyatta’s projects and policies run on strategic vision and planning for mammoth results in 2030.
“Some of the government actions are guided by the same thinking but have actual effects already in the here and now,” Maore noted citing the de-registration of betting firms as an example.
