Revered Journalist Jeff Koinange has taken his reporting a notch higher by taking the driver's seat and letting his fans experience Washington DC unobliterated.
In a special feature aired by Citizen TV on Monday night, the anchor is seen driving a car and touring special landmarks in Washington DC including the White House currently occupied by President Donald Trump.
"In order to get a look at them (Washington DC monuments), you need two things. One, a rental car and two, a GPS which is available with the rental car.
"I'm gonna take you on a tour of DC so you can see it for yourself. First up, probably and arguably, the most famous address, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, otherwise known as the White House," he declares as the video opens.
While driving, Koinange observed that it took him 35 Kilometers to drive to the capital city under a strict speed limit of 65 Kilometers.
Before heading to the house on the Hill, the anchor stopped at the famous Lincoln memorial which was named after US former president Abraham Lincoln.
He noted that Lincoln is famed for ending the American Civil War which would later lead to the abolishment of slavery.
"Abraham Lincoln was the president from 1861 to 1865, during one of America's most tumultuous period, The American Civil War, that literally split the nation into two, the north vs the south.
"It was all because of slavery which Lincoln helped to abolish after the north won the war," he stated.
Lincoln was, however, killed while watching a play after one of its actors pulled out a gun and shot him.
Towards the end of the 9-minute video, Koinange finally arrives at the White House. Along the fence, the camera shows Jeff amidst several tourists who throng the site every single year.
