MP Quotes Popular Sailors Gang Song While Introducing His 3 Wives

Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria on Friday, September 13, left the crowd in stitches at the Nakuru ASK Showground during the 'Inua Mama' rally.

Gikaria was given an opportunity to speak and decided to introduce his three wives, two who were present and one in absentia.

As the women walked towards him, the legislator bragged about his bedroom prowess and insisted that he did not need any help from anyone.

"Am I doing well or not? It's called pekejeng' pekejeng' pekejeng' (a word with sexual connotation)! ” shouted Gikaria, sparking laughter from the crowd.

The word also features in the chorus of  Pekejeng', a song by a music group called Sailors Gang.

He further noted that one of his wives, who wasn't present, had recently been blessed with a baby.

"This one is Veronica Wairimu, she is the first lady number one A. And this one is Dorcas Wangui, she is also the first lady number one B. First lady number one C is not here, but I will bring her here another day. Am I doing well or not? Let them bear me witness, I don't need help. I am good at it,” added the MP before handing back the microphone to the event MC.

Before calling his wives, Gikaria had addressed the crowd, urging them to ensure that they were registered as voters in preparation for the 2022 general elections.

On this note, he made reference to the predicament that befell McDonald Mariga, Jubilee Party's candidate for Kibra by-election, who was found missing from the voter registers.

He then went on to launch an attack on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), claiming that it's proponents had not visited the area to collect opinions from the residents.

The rally had been organised by Nakuru Senator, Susan Kihika, and brought together leaders affiliated to Deputy President William Ruto.
