Millie Odhiambo Escalates Onslaught Against Ruto on Live TV [VIDEO]

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, on Sunday, October 14, made scathing remarks against Deputy President William Ruto while appearing on K24 TV's Punchline.

During the show, Odhiambo claimed that Ruto did not embody the desirable characteristics of a national leader because of his tendencies to attack a certain community.

She further accused the DP of holding grudges arguing that Kenya's president needed to lead the country without ethnic biases, something she thought Ruto lacked.

"I would say that he (Ruto) needs to work on certain issues. He holds grudges. As a person who is a political leader, you should not target ethnic communities and yet he does.

"He seems to have a personal vendetta with the Luo community. I have no clue why," stated Odhiambo.

"He doesn't endear himself to me because he looks like he has ethnic biases. It does have to be in my community. I do not like people who have ethnic biases, so he needs to work on that," she continued.

In April 2019, Millie Odhiambo was among a crop of MPs who accused Ruto of dividing the Jubilee Party before transferring the blame to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

They argued that Ruto sponsored some leaders to oppose President Uhuru Kenyatta's fight against corruption and that he was demonising the handshake for his selfish interests.

To back up their claims up, they disclosed that Ruto was against the handshake from the onset since Odinga had apparently approached on four occasions with the DP turning him down every time.
