Details of Uhuru and Raila's Big Day With World Billionaires

President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga are set to mingle with the world's dollar-billionaires in an exclusive event set for October 23, 2019.

According to Summit Africa's website, the two Kenyan leaders are among 50 heads of state set to join over 200 of the world's top CEOs in Russia.

The event will be chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and is expected to last for two days.

It was revealed that Putin organised the first-ever Russia-Africa summit in Sochi to make inroads into Africa and suppress the growing influence of the West on the continent.

“I hope that new areas and forms of co-operation will be outlined during the forum, and promising joint initiatives will be put forward that will help take Russian-African collaboration to a whole new level and develop our economies and the prosperity of our peoples," stated Putin ahead of the meeting.

He further added that the opportunity presented the Asian country an opportunity for a joint platform for constructive engagement with the African continent.

Raila will fly out with two other wealthy Kenyans; businessman Vimal Shah and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Richard Ngatia.

The Africa Union envoy is also expected to be among the panelists in one of the sessions during the two-day event. Shah is also expected to be a panelist at the event.

Over 3,000 representatives of African businesses are expected to attend the event.
