You get what you pay for depending on your browsing habits. With the new packages, the amount of bundles is determined by the amount of money you wish to spend.
For example, when you have Ksh100 you can purchase 500MBS worth of data - with no expiry.
The bundles will only end when you complete them, they can stay in your phone forever it you wish - just know the power of the bundles is in your control.
How do I do that? You may ask…
- Dial *544# on your handset
- Select ‘DATA (NO EXPIRY DATE)’ from the menu
- Select purchase for own or other number
- Enter the amount you wish to spend (be it 1 bob, Ksh100, Ksh1000 to Ksh999,999)
- Select your preferred mode of payment - airtime, M-PESA
- You will receive a message with details of your purchase
The no-expiry bundles give you more value for less. For example with Ksh5 you get 10MBs that does not expire while the Normal Bundles With Expiry you get only 7MB which you have to use in just 24 hours.
As for voice, with every purchase of airtime you will get 50% bonus airtime to make calls and SMS’s across all networks.That is, with a purchase of Ksh100 you will get an extra Ksh50 to keep your connections going.
The new tariff is available to all their various categories of customers: prepaid, postpaid and hybrid.
