Joho's Imitation of Raila Leaves Mourners in Stitches [VIDEO]

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho on Saturday, October 26, left mourners in stitches after he imitated ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking during the burial of the late Gumbao Jola, an uncle to Ganda Ward MCA Reuben Katana, the governor stated that Raila could not change the county alone, hence, the March 9, 2018 handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Further, he told the mourners about a call that he received from the ODM leader, urging him to embrace the handshake.

"Vijana wangu (My sons), this country is greater than all of us," he imitated Raila as the crowd burst out laughing.

The Mombasa County boss urged the Ganda residents to embrace the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), noting his supporters in his county had already toed the line.

"As Mombasa residents, we also want to be part of the government that makes decisions and that is why we want the same documented on the constitution," he stated.

He also slammed Deputy President William Ruto and his allies for rejecting BBI, alleging that they had not gone through it.

"You have not read through the report, what are you rejecting?" he posed.

"We want to create a system of government that will ensure that everybody feels included," he added.
