Martha Karua Rants Over Mistreatment at UK Airport

Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua on Monday, October 28, took to social media to rant over mistreatment she was allegedly subjected to at Heathrow Airport in London, United Kingdom.

The former presidential aspirant filed a complaint about British airlines stating that she had been discriminated against by the staff before boarding a plane.

"I was discriminated by your staff. They took away my carry on bag claiming it was too large for the cabin. The taking of my bag at the boarding gate at Heathrow was not only unjustified but also discriminatory and high handed," she conveyed.

Karua stated that she had been allowed to travel with her carry-on luggage in a previous flight from Edinburgh Airport but trouble came at Heathrow Airport.

There, she was directed to check in her bag as it was too big for a carry-on. She narrated that there were other passengers with bags of similar size who were allowed to board uninterrupted.

"I did not resist. She issued me with baggage tag promising to ensure it was taken on board for the flight," she stated.

On arrival in Nairobi on Saturday, October 26, she did not receive her bag which she alleged had her toiletries and documents for a meeting in Addis Ababa the following day.

"I travelled to my Addis Ababa meeting without the vital documents and necessaries contained in my missing bag.

"I claim damages for the unreasonable behaviour of your staff, which has greatly inconvenienced me," she added.
