Uhuru Mysteriously Cancels Meeting Last-Minute [VIDEO]

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday, November 10, cancelled a meeting he was scheduled to attend at the last minute.

NTV reported that It was all systems go in Murang'a County where the president was scheduled for a fundraiser at ACK St. Peter Cathedral in Kenol area.

In the morning hours, the presidential detail was already in place signalling that the head of state would visit the area.

However, his visit would not materialise as members of the executive's team began leaving the place.

It became clear the Cabinet secretaries, Dr Fred Matiang'i (Interior), James Macharia (Transport and Infrastructure) and Joe Mucheru (ICT) would represent the president.

Leaders and residents alike expressed their disappointment with the apparent snub with many faulting Uhuru for only visiting the area during the funeral.

Locals who spoke to NTV revealed that they were expecting the President to provide direction for the Mount Kenya region during the meeting.

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro who had arrived earlier in the day for the event left the place after learning that the president would not show up.
