Hot 96 FM station manager Cynthia Mwangi has landed a new position in the radio station.
Ms Mwangi will be hosting The Morning After show that airs on Saturday mornings from 6 am to 10 am.
"A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. Here is my first step. Stepping out to a new challenge. Join me on my new journey, let's learn, laugh, dance, do it all on this journey," she wrote on her social media.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the station manager stated that the show would be both informative and entertaining, using conversations and good music.
"We won’t have any guests. However, we hope to incorporate stories from people across Africa who’ve conquered great adversity to reach their goals," she stated.
As a lady who wears many hats, she will have to balance both being a radio presenter and a station manager.
"This is no different from the shows I’ve produced. Only that I’ll be on the mic as opposed to giving directions and prompts," she added.
Ms Mwangi heads Hot 96 FM, which has renown media personalities including Jeff Koinange, Patrick Igunza, Willis Raburu among others.
Some of the shows in the station include; The Hot Breakfast, Rhythm Junction, DropZone and Hot Drive.
