Murkomen Makes Startling Revelations on Matiang'i-Raila Alliance [VIDEO]

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Sunday, December 1, made startling claims regarding Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.

In a video heavily circulated across various social media platforms, the vocal senator swore that Matiang'i's allegiances were firmly in former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's corner and that the powerful minister had voted for Raila in the 2013 general election.

"Namimi naeza swear huyu Matiang'i alipigia Raila kura 2013, hakuwa ndani ya Jubilee, loosely translating to, I can swear to you that Matiang'i voted for Raila in 2013, he was never part of Jubilee," he stated.

He went on to accuse the interior CS of corruption and looting of government coffers.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i during a press conference, May 19, 2019.

"Amekula pesa ya raia, tumbo imejaa, kichwa imejaa maji, sasa wanaongea mambo ambayo hayawezi saidia watu, loosely translating to, he has looted public property, his belly is full and he now goes around talking about pointless issues," he disclosed.

Murkomen also claimed to have saved Matiang'i from being dragged into the Ruaraka land saga, a fact he stated could be proved by the senate Hansard documents.

Murkomen allegedly defended Matiang'i during the senate hearings because the two were allies who used to hustle together before Matiang'i landed his plum job.

An audibly angry Murkomen dared the CS to a special election in Matiangi's home county, emphasising that he would beat the powerful minister hands down.

"I want to challenge Matiang'i, if you believe that you are truly a man, let's head to your home county of Nyamira and run for the MCA's post, and let's see if you can beat me," he announced.

He insisted that technocrats had no business trying to lead people due to the fact that they weren't elected leaders.
