Alfred Mutua is a Slay King - Oscar Sudi

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, on Saturday, January 4, criticised government officials who are critical of Deputy President William Ruto's ascension to the top seat.

Speaking during a press conference in Eldoret Town, the MP singled out Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua for complaining that his life was in danger.

"Mutua is a slay king. Is he a woman? It is only a woman whose hand a man can squeeze, maybe, when they are attracted to her romantically. But why would anyone want to squeeze Mutua's hand?" Sudi questioned.

The Machakos governor, on December 16, 2019, rushed to the DCI to report what he called a threat to his life after Deputy President William Ruto allegedly grabbed and held on to his hand.

"I have received a threat on my life that occurred on two different dates. On November 25, while at the State House, where I was threatened by Aden Duale together with Kipchumba Murkomen, who accused me of attacking them.

"When I asked how I attacked them, they told me that they would teach me a lesson for going after Deputy President William Ruto. I was shocked by the allegation since I have never attacked anyone," he stated.

Sudi went ahead and called out COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli for suggesting that the president was too young to retire from politics.

"He wants the president to stay in leadership for 50 years like he has in the labour union," Sudi stated.

Further, the MP cited that Atwoli was old and needed to resign and spend more time with his children.
