Father & 3 Sons Wed Lovers in Same Ceremony

A father and his three sons decided to start the new year in a heart-melting manner by wedding their lovers in one colourful ceremony.

According to a report by KTN News on Saturday, January 4, 2020, the event took place at the AIC Church in Tala, Machakos county where the four couples renewed their vows.

The wedding, which was a first of its kind in the area, kicked off with the father, Gideon Kilonzo Kieti, who walked down the aisle in song and dance before he was followed by his sons, from the oldest to the youngest.

The sons were, Daniel Musyoka (first-born), Peter Musembi (Second-born) and Onesmus Matisya. They were accompanied by their best men.

After the men made their way to the altar, the brides also entered the church in style and full of energy. They were led by the father's bride, Josephine Mumbua.

The event also broke protocols in which children to the brides and grooms were present and partook in the occasion.

Kieti was also celebrating 47 years in marriage together with his wife.

One of the sons told the broadcaster that the decision was agreed upon by the whole family with the intention of sharing their love with the church.

"I thought I should solemnise my wedding officially and as a family, we thought we should all come together.

"Everybody shows love and then we have a wedding as a family that we could all share in love and God and in the presence of the church," he stated.

Kieti later disclosed that the event was meant to bring them closer to God in preparation of serving him in the future.

"Today I wanted to come and appear before God with my first son, the second son and third son so that we come and cleanse ourselves and dress in courage so that as we go into God's work, we go in full throttle," he stated.
