A TV host has opened up about how she suffered at the hands of her former lover after he kidnapped her.
Speaking on Live TV on Sunday, March 29, the wife of Rapper Kennedy Ombima, popularly known as King Kaka and Switch TV host Nana Owiti disclosed that she got duped by her ex-lover before being tied up and taken away.
It all began while Owiti, as she recounted, was having a meal with her friend when her former lover appeared demanding to talk to her.
The issue later escalated when she left the cafe to talk to him in only to find he had a gang who forcefully took her to the back of a waiting car.
"By the time I was leaving, there were motorcycle riders outside. Next to them was an open car and they carried me into it. I was wondering what was going on and I was also biting him.
"(The former lover) kept telling me that I would not be set free. They took me to a house and I was all tied up and I’m like okay its 3 am, I’ve downed a whole bottle of wine, what do I do now?” she recalled.
The encounter was prolonged because the man then drove her to his house but she managed to break free after she hit him.
She ran away into the darkness and the man followed her lying to the guard that she was a thief.
She then talked in Kamba with the guard who was preparing to shoot her with an arrow and managing to stand him down. She later borrowed his phone which she used to call friends, who picked her up.
The revelation was part of Chatspot show's segment in which the four hosts, Joyce Maina, Kush Tracey, Mary Mwikali and Owiti, narrated their worst breakups.
Tracey disclosed that after completing high school, she got into a relationship with a boy who she did not know had an on-again-off-again relationship.
She only found out later that her boyfriend had a girl who was studying abroad before their relationship, which was dotted with parties in Westlands and other areas, ended abruptly.
