Jalang'o Offers Ex-Switch Presenter New Job

Comedian Felix Odiwuor known to many as Jalang'o on Wednesday, July 22, introduced Daniel Weke as his first presenter on Jalang'o TV.

Taking to his social media pages, Jalang'o disclosed that Weke would be part of the online TV segment.

"Let me introduce you to Daniel Weke. Jalang'o TV first host. So happy you joined the team! Watch him today at 1pm hosting JalangoTV on the street," the comedian stated.

Additionally, Weke did street interviews during Wednesday's show, where the comedian was remembering Papa Shirandula with alongside his former Papa Shirandula co-actors Otoro and Njoro.

The former Switch TV presenetd has experience in the entertainment industry hosting events and even had a short stint on radio. 

Wekes's introduction came nearly a month after the comedian had hinted at launching a television station on YouTube.

He had indicated that the YouTube channel was growing at a high rate and called on aspiring presenters, comedians and news anchors to send in clips of their work.

"If you think you have a talent and have always wanted to host something, you can talk to me, just comment down here and tell me what you are good at and I will send a number where you will be able to send a one-minute clip of you doing your thing," he requested.

A number of media personalities have started online shows in a bid to adjust to the current harsh economic times.

Some of this personalities include; Betty Kyallo, formerly of K24 TV, Jeff Koinange of Citizen TV, Jalang'o formerly of Milele FM and Abel Mutua, a celebrated screenwriter and producer.
