Media celebrities are often known for presenting news, comedy and entertainment in general. However, most have taken on other tasks and some have turned out to be money minting ventures.

From Lilian Muli, Betty Kyallo to Ken Mijungu, below are celebrities who are not only thriving in their careers but also as entrepreneurs.

1.) Lilian Muli

Early this year, the media personality launched an exquisite spa at Sound Plaza in Woodvale Grove, Nairobi.

Previously, Muli owned a fashion shop that dealt with slim fit dresses.

2.) Jalang'o

Kiss FM presenter Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o is one who would be considered a jack of all trades. Other than being a radio presenter, Jalang'o is a comedian, emcee, Youtube show host as well as an entrepreneur.

Jalas, as many call him, is a supplier of eggs across the country's capital city.

"I don't own chicken, I just buy my eggs directly from farmers -mostly from Lari, Kikuyu, and Limuru, then sell them on to major hotels across Nairobi. I handle at least 6000-7000 crates of eggs each week," he told Kenyans.co.ke early this year.
