Kameme FM presenter and comedian Benson Kamau, popularly known by his stage name Muthee Kiengei on Wednesday evening, November 25, announced that he had fulfilled his late mother's wish of being a parish minister.
On his social media pages, Kiengei announced he had been elevated to the rank of a parish minister in AIPCA Church Gatundu Township Headquarters.
"Thank you for your congratulatory messages towards my elevation in the rank of a parish minister in our church where I have served since my childhood," Kiengei expressed.
The Kameme FM presenter acknowledged that fulfilling his mother's wish had not been an easy achievement.
"I thank my elder brother Pastor Kiarie for respecting my late mother's wish and holding my hand back to service, doing this was not easy but it was right," he added.
Kiengei further invited his friends to the church.
A number of Kiengei's friends and family have since congratulated him led by Murang'a Woman Rep Sabina Chege.
"Congratulations my son and may God guide you, give you wisdom as you lead his flock," Chege stated.
"Congratulations brother this is the best decision one can make in life at any given point. May the good Lord walk with you, strengthen you and keep you to reach thousands of souls for his glory. I will soon attend one of the services," Citizen TV's Gatete Njoroge stated.
Kiengei is also famed for his polygamous lifestyle, having two wives who share a cordial relationship.
His first wife is a popular radio presenter Keziah Kariuki while the second one is a businesslady by the name Ashley Mugure.
