Journalist Biko Zulu to Host New NTV Show

Celebrated Journalist Jackson Biko, popularly known as Biko Zulu, has landed a new TV show on NTV.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Biko confirmed that his new show, The Singleton Stories, is set to kick off on Sunday, March 7.

The show will be a sit-down interview format that centers around his conversations with Kenya's best tastemakers and will air every Sunday at 10 p.m.

According to reports, the journalist's face will not be shown on the show, but his voice will be heard in a voice over style.

Among the guest lined up for the first few episodes include Africa Uncensored founder John Allan Namu, Film maker Tosh Gitonga and June Gachuri among others.

Biko is a celebrated author whose impact has been felt in the world of media and creative arts through tales on his hit blog Bikozulu.

He also doubles as a journalist with Business Daily Newspaper and has a monthly column in True Love Magazine.

His penmanship has also spilled over to the performance arts, where he is credited for writing some of the best plays to ever be performed at the theatres in Nairobi. 

Throughout his career, he has interviewed some of the most powerful individuals in the country including Chris Kirubi.

In 2015, after Biko highlighted the heartbreaking story of Emmanuel Otieno, popularly known as Jadudi, Kenyans launched a social media campaign dubbed #1MiliForJadudi in which Ksh6 Million was raised in 28 hours, surpassing the initial target.

In an earlier interview with Kenyans.co.ke, Biko disclosed that he would have pursued a career in motion picture industry in an alternate life.

Biko was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 men in Kenya in 2015.
