Kagwe's statement also revealed a stall in Kenya's vaccination campaign which has seen zero new jabs administered over the past three days.
As of May 15, a total of 933,826 persons had been vaccinated from the close to one million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine that Kenya received.

The Ministry of Health is now awaiting an order of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
