"He dared me to dare the world. And I have done it," Chamwada wrote.

In 2014, the former journalist resigned from Royal Media Services to set up Chams Media, a communication consultancy firm. The company began producing Daring Abroad and The Chamwada Report in 2015.

The programme tells the stories of Kenyans living abroad who have successfully managed to create a living for themselves.

The show began airing on KTN before the termination of the contract on May 31,2020. The show is back exclusively on NTV.

Chamwada's post elicited comments from other former students including Kenya's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Manoah Esipisu.

Esipisu appreciated Aluku for mentoring him and other leaders who went through his hands.

"That man and an elite group of teachers he oversaw is responsible for moulding and growing an outstanding generation of leaders in his St Peters Golden Decade of 1982 to 1992.

Chamwada and other old-boys of his former school paid a visit to their former principal on Saturday, August 14 in his Kipkaren home in Lugari.

They thanked their principal for his mentorship, deeming the reunion a nostalgic moment.
