Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) George Kinoti on Wednesday, August 25, announced findings of his probe against Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

In a letter obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the DCI stated that he has cleared the Wiper Leader in the probe on the acquisition of his Yatta land.

DCI also dismissed claims that the land was grabbed from the National Youth Service (NYS). In the letter, the sleuths indicated that the parcel of land was bought from Betraco limited.

"The subject property is privately owned by Pastev holdings limited after buying from a company known as Betraco limited... it is therefore established that the property mentioned above is legally owned by Pastev holdings limited," the letter by the DCI read in part.

"The National Youth Service alleged to be the legitimate owners of the subject property categorically stated that they have no bonafide proprietary ownership interest of the same at all," it added.

Musyoka said his legal team is exploring other legal remedies that they will pursue against Deputy President William Ruto.

Addressing the media in Karen, Kalonzo lashed out at Deputy President William Ruto as he listed what he claimed were properties that the DP acquired illegally.

Kalonzo called on Kenyans not to vote for people named in corruption scandals, noting that the future of the country would be in jeopardy for many decades to come.

"Today the DP owns five high-end helicopters piloted by white captains with an exclusive grabbed hanger at Wilson Airport. The ADC land in Laikipia was grabbed by William Ruto and must revert back to the State."

"He also took a loan at AFC to irregularly obtain land that belonged to the former Vice President... this land is actually village land in Kilgoris. The National Land Commission made a finding that Weston Hotel sits on land belonging to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority," the Wiper leader stated.

In January Kalonzo and his team of lawyers challenged Ruto to appear before DCI to shed light on land grabbing claims lodged against him.

DP Ruto had accused Musyoka of grabbing the 200-acre piece of land from the National Youth Service (NYS).
