Estonian President Races with Kenyan Athletes in 10KM Marathon [Photos]

The President of the Republic Of Estonia, Her Excellency, Kersti Kaljulaid, joined Kenyan marathoners today morning, September 11, at Karura Forest for a 10KM race.

Her Excellency was accompanied by Kenyan Marathon legends including Catherine Ndereba, Tegla Loroupe and Douglas Wakiihuri. The race was flagged off by Sports CS Amb Amina Mohamed.

The Estonian President was at the Kenya Forest Service Headquarters, Karura Forest to participate in the marathon and later at a cleanup exercise, which is an environmental event spearheading sustainable forestry.

The President is on the last day of her three-day State visit to Kenya

The Estonian President is in the country for a State visit and has so far been involved in, among others, bilateral talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
