Internet sensation Bevalyn Kwamboka, a roadside chips vendor, has landed a sponsorship deal from well-wishers.

Taking to her social page on Friday, October 15, Kwamboka announced that she will no longer be running her business by the roadside as she has landed a deal.

The deal sealed by anonymous well-wishers saw the 23-year-old get a new premise where she will be running her business from.

On top of that, the sponsors have paid a three-month rent to enable her settle in and find her footing in running the business.

They have further furnished the premise with new stools that will enable buyers to even sit in as they wait to be served.

To prove the deal is life-changing, Kwamboka noted that the sponsors, whom she did not reveal their details, gave her stock for her business.

She went ahead to appreciate them and other online users who elevated the matter till it received the much-needed attention.

"Thank you so much to you all who retweeted and shared my tweets and story to your friends, a anonymous well wisher has offered me a modern tools for chips, stock, and paid three months' rent for the premises. Thank you kwa kuahidi na kutimiza ahadi, (Thank you for seeing, promising, and even fulfilling)," she wrote.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, she confirmed receiving the deal and appealed to more people to come and board and support her business.

The deal follows an emotional appeal she made to Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) and the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), who had warned her against doing the business under a footbridge.

Kwamboka, a fourth-year student pursuing a Bachelors degree in Education at Kenyatta University, emotionally narrated that plans to evict her would paralyse all her life operations.

"What I can tell KeNHA is that as much as I sell chips here, I have not affected anything, I have taken precautionary measures by placing an iron sheet even to prevent smoke from destroying the footbridge. This (referring to the business) is my mother, this is my father, this is my husband, this is my employment," she stated.

"If I stop this business, I will call off my university education and just go back to my rural home because this is my everything. If KeNHA comes that will be the end of me, I will have no otherwise but just move out of Nairobi."

KURA had termed her business outlawed as it was infringing on the rights of pedestrians.

"This is unauthorised and an infringement to pedestrian rights, the footbridges and walkways are meant for pedestrian passage and not any form of business," read an excerpt of the statement.

She went viral after her fallout with nominated Senator Millicent Omanga over another deal the legislator had offered. The deal went south compelling the legislator to call out Kwamboka for being unappreciative.
