HomeBoyz Radio on Tuesday, October 19, revealed that former NRG Radio presenter Charles Karumi would co-host in the Morning alongside G-Money alias Conrad Gray.

Karumi took to social media to announce the news and encourage his fans to tune in at 103.5 every morning to listen to the show.

"Fam! It's Charlie Karumi on #GMITM starting today. The perfect duo to kickstart your mornings," HomeBoyz announced.

The show runs from 6 am to 10 am weekly and has been synonymous with G-Money alongside notable deejays in the industry such as DJ Mr Fabz and Dj Redbone.

G-Money has been a staple in the recent past, with Hip-Hop fans gravitating towards the show since its onset.

G-Money has amassed over 20 years in the entertainment industry across the globe, deejaying for American artists such as Ja Rule, Jay Z, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean among others.

However, he has established his name as a powerhouse in the media industry through radio.

From hosting Bassline FM in the United Kingdom to hosting 1 Xtra at the British Building Corporation (BBC), G-Money made a name for himself before exploring the Kenyan market.

GMITM had replaced the Lift Off Breakfast Show, which was hosted by former employees Shaffie Weru, DJ Joe Mfalme and DJ Neville.

The Breakfast show had been scrapped off following comments made about a woman who had been pushed off from the ninth floor of a building.

Karumi ventured into TV hosting in 2015 by taking part in KTN's The Presenter Season 2, where he finished in the final ten.

A year later, he took part in TLC's Africa-wide talent search and emerged second runners up.

In 2017, he joined Mediamax and hosted Arena 254 on K24, before landing a role in South Africa Danish Broadcasting Corporation TV series, Liberty. Two years later, Karumi joined NRG Radio, hosting the NRG Breakfast Club.
