Transline Classic on Tuesday, September 6, reprimanded the actions of one of their workers whose video went viral after he was recorded mocking Azimio la Umoja's presidential candidate, Raila Odinga.

In a statement issued by the management, the company dissociated itself from the employee's actions and affirmed that he acted in his own capacity.

The Tiktok video went viral for the better part of Monday, September 5, after the Supreme Court ruling that upheld president-elect, William Ruto's victory.

While donning Transline uniform, the staff trolled Raila for his fifth subsequent loss at clinching the presidency in the video that irked a section of Kenyans.

"Our attention has been drawn by a video clip going around the social media done by the casual worker based at our Afya Centre offices.

"As a company, we wish to dissociate ourselves from that clip and state that it was done by the individual's will and does not in any way represent the views of the company," Transline Classic stated.

Strict disciplinary measures were also taken against the individual who trolled Raila for losing the August 9 polls.

The management further affirmed its core mandate of serving all customers regardless of their political affiliation and ideologies.

"We apologize to everybody, especially to our valued customers for the offending clip. As a company we are in business and not in politics.

"We will continue to give the best of the services to all our customers," read part of the statement.

The Transline buses mainly ply along the Nairobi-Kisii route as well as Kisumu, Migori and Homabay.
