A daring man identified as Nurdin Ibrahim allegedly stormed Eastleigh Police Station and threatened to kill a police officer.
However, Nurdin's Monday, November 7, mission was cut short when a contingent of police officers easily arrested and placed him in the cell.
According to corporal Ahmed Abdisalam Adan, Ibrahim came to the station then started making 'unfounded' demands.
The situation got out of hand when Ibrahim threatened to kill police officers inside the station.
The 2pm incident shocked other members of the public who had visited the station to seek police services.
Officers at Eastleigh Police Station accused Ibrahim of threatening to kill people then flee to Somalia.
In particular, Ibrahim reportedly held a grudge against corporal Ahmed Abdisalam Adan who has been serving at the station for some time.
Ibrahim accused Adan of interfering with his work at a firm where he provides private security services within the Eastleigh area.
It is reported that Ibrahim then grabbed Adan by the neck and wrestled him before other officers intervened and arrested him.
Ibrahim was arraigned in court Tuesday, November 8, to face charges of threatening and assaulting an officer in uniform.
Ibrahim denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Hellen Okwany at Makadara Law Courts and pleaded for lenient bail and bond terms.
However, the state rejected his prayers and reminded the judge that the accused person threatened a police officer inside a police station and is under investigation in another case of assault.
Okwany will rule on bond and bail application on Wednesday, November 9.
