A Notorious gang was captured on CCTV robbing a supermarket attendant and harassing the business operator.

According to a National Police Service report dated Tuesday, December 13, the armed gang of two walked away with Ksh300,000 and assorted mobile phones.

They emptied the money drawers and stashed the cash into a bag they had carried. The attendant cooperated during the robbery and did not raise the alarm or resort to resistance.

He, however, attempted to follow them after they stormed out of the building but remained glued at the entrance in disbelief.

Luckily police officers at Kondele Police Station tracked down the suspects and arrested one.

“Yesterday, we arrested one man in Kondele in connection to a robbery with violence on an incident that happened on November 19, in Bondo.

"The arrested is believed to be the one seen stuffing cash in a bag in the video,” NPS reported.

Also in custody was the mother of an underage boy who transported the gang with a motorbike to the crime scene.

Bondo Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) pleaded with the public to share any information that would lead to the suspect's arrest, cautioning that he was armed and dangerous.

“We appeal to members of the public to share with the nearest police station or through our toll-free numbers any information that may assist us in the arrest of the remaining suspect and recovery of the firearm (s),” DCI announced.
