Govt Announces Jobs With Up to Ksh445K Salary; How to Apply

The Export and Processing Zones Authority (EPZA), on Tuesday, April 11, announced plans to recruit at least 25 individuals.

In a statement, the government institution disclosed that some jobs will be permanent and pensionable while others will be for a four-year contract.

On the other hand, some are in different job groups ranging from 2 to 11. Those in Job Group 2 are entitled to a salary of between Ksh143K and Ksh445K, while those in job group 3 get between Ksh 140K and Ksh350K.

Permanent and pensionable jobs included Principal Investor Support officer (Grade 5), Principal ICT Officer (Grade 5), Mechanical Engineer (Grade 7), Electrical Technologist (Grade 7), Mechanical Technician (Grade 9), Laboratory Technician (Grade 9), Electrical Technician (Grade 9), Human Resource Assistant (Grade 9), Investor Support Assistant (Grade 9) and Drivers (Grade 11).

Jobs under the four-year contract include General Manager Operations and Investor Support (Grade 2), Manager Operations and Investor Support (Grade 3), Manager Human Resource and Administration (Grade 3), and Corporate Secretary & Manager Legal Services (Grade 3).

Others were Assistant Manager Operations and Investor Support (Grade 4), Assistant Manager Operations & Investor Support/Head of Nairobi and Eastern region (Athi River) (Grade 4), Head of Coast and North Eastern regions (Mombasa) (Grade 4),  Research Assistant Manager (Grade 4)and Administration Assistant Manager (Grade 4).

How to Apply 

All interested candidates can apply online using Google forms available at www.epzakenya.com under the career section.

They are urged to indicate the job reference and the job applied for in the forms.

"Candidates should attach a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and National Identity Card," read part of the statement.

Other requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution were a police clearance certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a compliance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Authority (EACC) and a clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

All applications should be filled and submitted by May 1, 2023.
